Singapore | Jumbo Seafood 珍寶海鮮樓

When travelling to Singapore, you must try Chili Crab. There are lots of restaurants offers chili crab, while the most famous one must be Jumbo Seafood.

說到新加坡美食,大家的第一反應無疑是辣椒蟹。新加坡有不少餐廳都有做辣椒蟹,但最有名的非珍寶莫屬了。在1987年開業的首家珍寶海鮮樓位於遠近馳名的東海岸海鮮中心。這裏匯集了八家著名的海鮮餐館,是本地民眾和遊客都喜歡光顧的海鮮勝地。

Jumbo has several branches in Singapore, the most popular two branches are in Clark Quey, which are quite hard to book. While i personally love the east coast branch best, because of the comparisonly relax setting and sea view.

一般大家都會選擇去克拉碼頭那兩家分店,也是最難約的兩家。但是我還是最喜歡東海岸這家,不是那麼難預定,享受美食的同時還可以看看海景,吃完也可以沿著東海岸公園散步。

椰子無疑是熱帶國家最新鮮最健康的飲料了,配辣椒蟹也是超級解渴。3

什菌煨豆腐配芥菜 Braised homemade Tofu with Mushrooms and Broccoli ($24)

The tofu was lighted pan-fried, with a crispy skin while silk and smooth inside. It was flavorful and definitely a healthy choice to start with.

豆腐輕輕煎過,外皮脆脆的,裡面確非常嫩,也很入味。西蘭花很新鮮健康。珍寶有個好處就是菜都可以點大份、中分、小份,所以兩個人來吃就算想吃很多品種,也不用怕吃不完啦。

蒜蓉粉絲蒸蟶子 Steamed Bamboo Clams with Vermicelli and Minced Garlic ($14/each)

Maybe my favorite seafood in Singapore. The bamboo clams are priced at $14 each, which is not cheap but definitely worth. The clams were perfectly steamed – fresh, juicy and a little bit juicy. The seasoning went through the whole piece nicely.

最喜歡吃這個超級大隻的蟶子,肉質新鮮彈牙,調味也是恰到好處。每次去每個人都要來好多個。

接著就開始發這個可愛的圍兜,也說明我們的辣椒蟹快要來咯。

招牌辣椒蟹 Chili Grab

The Chili crab comes with a lovely spicy smelling, it was made of a huge Sri Lanka crab. The price of the dish depends on the market price of the crab, but usually ranges from $70 to $90. Don’t forget to order some deep-fried buns to serve with the chili sauce, it was die-for.

辣椒蟹選用超大隻的斯裡蘭卡蟹,上桌時就已經香味四溢了。價格是按市場價來算得,一般都在$70-$90左右一只。點辣椒蟹的同時不要忘了來一份炸饅頭,蘸著辣椒蟹的醬汁吃超級棒。

看圖就知道這肉有多麼飽滿了吧!肉質鮮嫩多汁彈牙,收口還有點蟹肉本身的甜味。

The crab was really meaty and juicy, quite tender and bouncy, the chili sauce was lovely as well.

鹹蛋黃炒蝦仁 Salted egg yolk prawns ($44)

Another dish we always love at Jumbo. Looks heavy and creamy, but not greasy at all. It was high in flavor, and the prawns themselves were very juicy and fresh, highly recommend.

也是超級推薦的一道菜,看起來有點膩,但是吃了一個就停不下來。鹹蛋黃味道很足,蝦肉也很鮮美彈牙。 10

馬來風光 Stir-fried Sambal Spinach

Some greens to table, the spinach with sambal sauce is definitely the most signature local veggie dish. It was spicy and with a twist of salted silver fish.

簡單的來說就是辣炒空心菜(通菜)啦,用的是新加坡特有的三巴醬。有一點魚的腥味但是辣辣的味道很惹人喜歡。

海鮮炒麵 Seafood Fried Noodles

The worst dish of all. Large portion of noodles, and tastes seriously bland. The seafood was not that high in quality as previous dishes.

大概是最難吃的一道菜,面一點都不入味,海鮮的量還算足還是也是沒什麼味道。11

There were still a lot of people waiting in line after we finished out dinner. Reservation is highly recommend, otherwise, do remember to come earlier to avoid the crowd. It is really enjoyable to take a walk along the east coast after such a satisfying seafood feast.

我們吃完了還有很多人在拿號排隊,所以建議大家不預定的話一定要早點來。吃完了沿著東海岸走走消化一下再舒服不過了。
