Guests can borrow bikes from the gym. The only thing i don’t like about the gym was NO WIFI. The managers said because a lot teenagers came to the gym for some banned website, because the gym was the only place with wifi without any password in the resort.
Besides gym, the resort also provides a wide range of outdoor activities, such as rock climbing, archery, tennis, weekly cycling excursions to the local night markets, daily cycling excursions to the local villages and paddy field, beach volleyball, beach football, etc. The are also Asia cooking class and a lot water sports.
The highlight of the outdoor activities must be Mangrove & Eagle Safari.
Depature from Four Seasons Resort Langkawi’s private beach. Passing soaring ancient sea stacks, you’ll enter the park’s dramatic waterways – a maze of 550-million-year-old cliffs and tangled mangroves, home to some of the world’s most intriguing creatures. Traverse little-known tributaries in search of monitor lizards and sleeping vipers, and coast into ancient limestone caves.
Eagles, monkeys, otters, walking fish – Langkawi’s Kilim Karst Geoforest Park is home to one of the most diverse tropical ecosystems on the planet.
During an exclusive excursion with Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, you’ll venture by boat into this nature preserve – part of the UNESCO-endorsed Langkawi Geopark – as a Four Seasons naturalist leads you to up-close encounters with exotic animals and Malaysia’s most ancient geological formations.
Experience massages, manicures and pedicures from the comfort of your private pavilion or villa at the Geo Spa.
There are a wide range of Yoga available at the SPA, among most of them are complimentary.
The Rhu Bar at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi cultivates a rich Middle Eastern ambience. Amidst intricate wooden screens, guests lounge on wicker sofas piled high with coloured cushions, while enjoying views of the blue waters and beyond.
Rhu Bar offers a quaint Japanese menu and an evening beverage list featuring house special tropical cocktails, specialty malts, international beers and an extensive wine list.
The is also a bar seating and game area in door.
Mojito (MYR 32) with light rum, lime wedges, brown sugar, mint leaves and soda was very refreshing. It was much bitter than those i had in other places. For non-alchohol drinks, Melaleuca Dream ( MYR 29) with orange juice, grapefruit juicue, simple syrup, grenadine and cream was a very nice try.
Stuffed Lotus Root (MYR 50) with mushrooms, mixed vegetables, tofu, served with sour apple sauce.
Tuna Tartar Racos (MYR 50) yellowfin tuna, Macadamia nut, avocado and soy-seasome fressing was one of the most impressive dish during my stay with Four Seasons Resort Langkawi. The tuna was fresh and flavorful, perfectly combined with creamy but refreshing mashed avocado and crispy hard tacos.
Four Seasons Resort Langkawi also offers a wide selection of dishes from all around world for all-day in-room dining. We tried the Vegetable & Avocado Summer Roll (MYR 64) after the archery & before dinner, it was refreshing and delicious.
An exceptional menu is always part of Four Seasons dining, but for special occasions, the setting can make all the difference as well. Choose from a dreamy tent on the beach, a private beachfront cabana, a graceful pond pavilion or your own starlit patio.
