Hello again Bali! Half a year ago, my parents and i came to Bali for Chinese New Year. We stayed with Four Seasons Hotel at Jimbaran and stayed in the hotel for the whole four days. As we didn’t travel around Bali, we decided to travel to Bali again after my mid-terms.
This time, we chose Nusa Dua, where is in the east of Bali. Nusa Dua is famous for its beach and luxurious resorts. We finally decided to stay with St.Regis Resort, which is one of our favorite hotel chain.
So let’s start from the very beginning of our trip.
As soon as we landed and arrived at the airport, we surprisingly saw the attendants from St.Regis once we enter the main building of the airport. They told us to pay for the visa, and they will pick up our luggage and waiting for us outside the customs counter. We felt their greatest welcome from the heart.
We were treated with lemongrass-infused ice towels, mineral water and a welcome dessert as soon as we get into the car.
It was our favorite truffle chocolate!
Welcome frangipani, which means ‘becoming a Balinese’.
Welcome drink made of fresh tropical fruits. Great refreshment.
From the lobby you can see this ladders which is access to the main garden, villas, restaurants, pools and the beach.
Our suit was huge, at 92 square meters.
We also have our own balcony. It was not hot outside there at all, but surprisingly cool.
A big changing with with a whole wall of cheval mirror.
The bathroom is quite big as well. Comes with a toilet & shower (in individual sections) and a bath.
The mini bar. We felt really surprised to see 8 bottles of water on the table, and that exclude 2 bottles in the restroom and 2 bottles on the bedside.
Welcome gift for the kid.
There are 2 straw hats and a straw bag in each room, our butler told us those are free for us to take home as a souvenir if we want.
After that., we simply took a walk around the hotel and exploring. Almost everything we saw are green and blue.
The pool is seriously huge, i even saw someone rowing a boat in the lagoon. The picture here are just the main pool. Besides that, there are also kids’ pool and salt pool.
I really love the design of the bench with white curtains, looks like a paradise. Oh no, it IS!
St.Regis Bali owns its private beach with white sand.
There are lots of people relaxing on the beach in the afternoon, reading, eating, chatting and sleeping. Seems really great.
The quality of the sand here is undoublty much better than Jimbaran, so is the blueness ocean. The water is just so clear. While in Jimbaran, Four Seasons itself doesn’t own any beach, it was built on a low cliff. But there is a beach just next to FS, with the most famous BBQ restaurants along with the beach. Those restaurants are really popular fot tourists, so it is not hard to tell the quality of beach and environment.
There’s also a tripical garden inside the resort.
My mom is lazy to take care of my 5-year-old sister, so we drop her off at the kids club.
It looks quite fun here! There are art room, reading room with books & toys & TV, music room with piano & Balinese instruments , and also a kitch that can cook for the kids or baking with kids. There’s also a outside area with a small payground with swings, sands, and slides.
Start at 6:30pm every evening, there will be a Fire Dance Show just downstairs the lobby. Those performance will lighten all the torches up during their performance.
Also for the kids, there will be complimentary milk and cookies before sleep.Kindly give your butler a call if you want to order this for your kid.
